“Gallo de pelea” is a documentary project that I am currently working on about a third generation cockfighter owner and his roosters. Cockfighting, which is considered by many in Puerto Rico the "national sport," is legal on the island for now. This may change if a bill introduced into Congress last November, which will prohibit animal fighting in United States territories, becomes law.
